WORKSHOPS
Create your own beautiful leaded glass panel in this hands-on, one-day workshop. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished piece to take home—no prior experience needed.
To ensure a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of one-to-one guidance, places are limited.

Dates: Saturday 9th May or Saturday 16th May
Time: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Humphrys Café, Highams Park (covered outdoor area)
Price: £140 per person (all materials included)
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Choose a design from a curated selection of options. If you have a design you would like to make please ensure you email/message to check it's ok. (Your own design should be maximum size of 20-25cms with around 9 pieces to cut. If you are a beginner stick with mainly straight lines - curves are trickier to cut.)
Learn how to cut glass safely and accurately
Assemble your panel using traditional lead techniques
Solder joints to secure your design
Apply cement to strengthen the structure
Add finishing touches, including hooks for hanging
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR
Old clothes and closed-toe shoes
Optional: apron and safety goggles (limited spares available)
Dress appropriately for the weather, as the workshop is held in a covered outdoor space
LUNCH
We’ll take a short break during the day.
You can either purchase food and drinks from Humphry's café or bring your own.
