A bit of context -  Walthamstow Stadium was a greyhound racing venue in East London that opened in the 1930s. It was one of 33 dog tracks in London at that time. It closed its doors in 2008, and in 2012, planning permission was granted for flats to be developed on the site, but the Grade II listed art deco facade still stands. In February 2016, the neon lights of Walthamstow Stadium's logo and greyhound were illuminated for the first time since 2008, as part of a restoration program.
